Aggressive Ticket Prices for the next Season revealed amidst appeal by Coventry City Chairman to Supporters

The ticket prices of Coventry City for the next season have been revealed and they boast that it is less expensive than their rivals. Ray Ranson chairman of the Sky Blues has appealed to the fans and supporters to get going for a very thrilling promotional campaign in the coming season. He said they have to increase revenue, which is a big job. There are numerous ways to increase revenue, such as selling merchandise like football shorts or shirts, but obviously one of the easiest ways is to increase attendance at Ricoh Arena. Ranson admitted that these were hard times and keeping that in mind they have been very aggressive in pricing with few initiatives. He made a rallying cry and said that he desperately needed the help of the supporters for getting back the club to Premiership. He further added that they were really trying hard to make the offer very attractive for the next season.

He said discussions for the pricing have been made at length and they have come up with a very good offer for everyone. The plans are for a big push for which they require the support of the fans and this message is already getting across of how they are trying to take the club forward.

Ranson said that he hopes that the quarter-final of the FA Cup on Saturday against Chelsea has certainly intensified their fans appetite. The turnout was great and the day was also good, though the result was disappointment however the team had put up a decent show. It has shown a glimpse of what Coventry City can achieve which is one of the main objectives of coming to the club.

Ray Ranson said that now everything was in place and he hoped that they can fill up the Ricoh Arena once again in the near future.
