Aggressive Ticket Prices for the next Season revealed amidst appeal by Coventry City Chairman to Supporters

The ticket prices of Coventry City for the next season have been revealed and they boast that it is less expensive than their rivals. Ray Ranson chairman of the Sky Blues has appealed to the fans and supporters to get going for a very thrilling promotional campaign in the coming season. He said they have to increase revenue, which is a big job. There are numerous ways to increase revenue, such as selling merchandise like football shorts or shirts, but obviously one of the easiest ways is to increase attendance at Ricoh Arena. Ranson admitted that these were hard times and keeping that in mind they have been very aggressive in pricing with few initiatives. He made a rallying cry and said that he desperately needed the help of the supporters for getting back the club to Premiership. Chris Coleman calls into question the Performance of Referee Steve Bennett

Chris Coleman the manager of Coventry City was very furious with referee Steve Bennett’s performance at the quarter-final match of the FA Cup at Ricoh Stadium where Chelsea defeated Coventry City 2-0. Coleman criticized the role and described the referee as “smug” after he gave the permission too quickly to Alex and Didier Drobga the two Chelsea in-form players to come back who went out of the field for medical treatment. Chris said the decision was not fair and he along with all the other players was really disappointed with the differential attitude of Steve. Coventry City should just move on

Disappointment could be clearly seen on Chris Coleman as he remarked that he was totally unhappy with the way Coventry City conceded to the first goal by Didier Drogba of Chelsea. It was in the early first half that Drogba scored his first goal against Coventry that really disappointed Chris Coleman. Drogba was very quick to realise the opportunity when a misjudged header of Ben Turner brought him head on with Scott Dann. He dodged the captain of Coventry City, handled the goalkeeper and before the defenders could rush, placed his left-foot shot high into the net. This gave him his tally in this season to three goals in four games. Finally a decisive second goal by Alex towards the end of the game brought an end of the quarter finals of the FA Cup for Coventry at Ricoh Arena. (Read on …)
