Pre-Season Friendlies Schedule for Coventry City next Season
The last season for Coventry City (CC) was speckled with many near misses. Capacity, range, power and more so the will were all falling short in the 2008-2009 season. The constant losses have dragged the club down and resulted is continual fiscal loss. Nonetheless there still stands a dedicated army of staunch believers that religiously follows every game and eagerly prays for that one opportunity that will one day see Coventry City emerge as champions. With the new matches scheduled for the coming season Coventry City players will have ample opportunity to hone their skills and execute better gameplay.
The schedule for the pre-season friendly matches has been fixed. The 2009-2010 pre-season match kicks off with the Wrexham versus Coventry City on Saturday the 11th of July at 3 in the afternoon. This is followed by the Nuneaton City versus CC on Wednesday the 15th of July at 7 pm, Hinckley United versus CC on Saturday the 18th of July at 3 in the afternoon, Northampton Town versus CC on Tuesday the 21st of July at 7:45 pm, Huddersfield Town versus CC on Saturday 25th July at 3 in the afternoon and finally the Dunfermline Athletic versus CC on Wednesday the 29th of July at 7:45 pm.
A total of six friendly matches have been fixed for the pre-season schedule for Coventry City. Hoping for a turn around the Coventry City players have a lot of work cut out. The Coventry players will have no time for rest, and will likely have to spend a lot of off-season time on a Reebok treadmill, training, or working out. If the previous season’s results are any indication, then CC players have to buck up and perform with greater will and determination. Though these are just the friendlies lets hope the players have the acumen of picking up some pointers and polishing their skill.
