The Adidas Copa Mundial was originally a pair of soccer shoes designed for the Soccer World Cup in 1982 but was released prematurely in 1979. Since then, the pair of shoes has gained cult following from soccer followers all over the world and has witnessed slight variations being added to it over the years. The Adidas Copa Mundial is completely fabricated from pure Kangaroo leather so that the player wearing them is able to exercise complete control over the ball when it comes to him. The leather which is quite thin easily lets the feet slip into the shoes and is also quite lightweight. This way, the footballer will not even feel the weight of the shoes while dribbling the ball.

A couple of years ago when Adidas celebrated the silver jubilee for Copa, it offered an anniversary package. The edition came with a specialized box accompanied by wooden shoe trees, key chain, leather polish and special cloth. The Adidas Copa Mundial has always been worn by players playing in a Soccer World Cup and the piece has become a legend in itself. Certain variations that are visible in the Adidas Copa Mundial include metal screw-ins and sole plates. Buy a pair for yourself and be as part of the legendary troupe owning a pair. You will undoubtedly have the time of your life wearing the Adidas Copa Mundial and playing the sport. After all, wearing something that the legends of the sport have worn has its own charm.
