Reebok Newport Classic (NPC) trainers were exclusively made for tennis players. This design was released in the year 1989. The features of Reebok Newport Classic trainers are clean lines in addition to a flat sole. The flat sole is concerned with giving the appropriate balance as well as grip while playing tennis.

It is a very plain design. This is complimented with a neat shape and a finer finish. These pairs of Reebok trainers are available in just two colour shades. They are solid white and light cream. A revised design was released in the market in the year 2000.

Reebok NPC Plug Trainers Lace is another variant whose purpose was further elaborated to outdoor use. Its sole is made up of rubber. The upper portion of the trainer is made up of leather. This gives it a very fine glossy appearance. Like any other trainer, a lace is used for fastening purposes. Reebok NPC Rad II also looks similar to the Reebok NPC Plug Trainers Lace with the same features but a minor difference in the design. It comes in shades of white while Plug Trainers Lace comes in black as well. The Reebok NPC Gilded is another option which consists of the same materials used for construction and the difference is that the body shape seems a bit elongated and blunt compared to NPC Rad II. Reebok Classic Leather Gilded has some innovation in the colour distribution of the shoe exterior. It comes in a mixture of black and silver.
