Prospects from the Coventry City Academy are making it Big
The recent news item about four prospects from the Coventry City Academy entering the professional circuit after signing their maiden professional contracts is being reported in influential publications. The youngsters talked about are Curtis Wynter, Ashley Cain, Adam Walker and Jermaine Grandison, each of whom is 18 years old. These four rising stars debuted for the Sky Blues in the season 2008/09 and displayed their exploits. Chris Coleman’s side served as a perfect launch pad and their efforts have yielded them one year contracts. Star prospect and midfielder Adam Walker is the first one from the fray to make his foray post a 2-0 triumph over Sheffield Wednesday.
