Reading, Cardiff close on Play-offs

The positions were booked in the in the English Championship playoffs by Cardiff City & Reading. Both of them are just a step away from the Premier League with equal chances. Cardiff had to face disappointment at relegated Charlton with drawing 2-2. Whereas Reading beat Derby 2-0. Crystal Palace manager questions referee’s Fitness and blames him for Defeat

Crystal Palace manager, Neil Warnock, has blasted referee Clive Penton for what he believed was a sure penalty that was denied by the referee. The manager couldn’t believe his eyes when the referee let go Ipswich’s Tommy Miller, who apparently was involved in a serious tackle with Nick Carle. Neil Warnock has reasons to feel aggrieved as at that time his team was trailing 1-2, and a timely intervention would have given his team a wonderful opportunity to draw level.
